How can I get a custom design?

Hi there, Any design is possible!

All custom design orders should be placed directly through our website. You can then work with our designer and receive a preview of what your card may look like. If you’d like to see a preview before purchasing, send over any design requests/images for your card to customerservice@engravencard.com to get in touch with our designer!

Our custom metal cards start at $149 USD and our premade designs start at $139.
You also have the option to add our Card Care at checkout, offering a two-year warranty.

Can you do Apple Cards?


Yes! Since Apple Cards are titanium we can directly add your custom design to it.

However, please email us at customerservice@engravencard.com to work with our designer in ensuring we can create your custom design for your Apple Card.

How & What?

How do we do this?

Hi there,

  • To be able to have a fully functional metal card you will have to ship us your existing plastic card. We will then transfer all the data from your old card to your new metal card. Yes, our state-of-the-art machines transfer the data from the magnetic strip to the metal card as well.

  •  We will also be using our Patent Pending Technology to remove your EMV chip from your original card and transfer it onto your new metal card. We will return your original card along with your new personalized metal card.

  • Please note that once we remove the EMV chip from your original plastic card, that card will no longer be functional. You will only be able to swipe with it.

Will my card still work in ATMs and everywhere else?

  • Yes, your metal card does work in all ATM machines!

  • Your original plastic card will still work in the ATM machines without the EMV chip. The ATM machines will be reading the magnetic strip from your plastic card. So it is preferred to use your plastic card in the ATM machines instead.

  • You can also certainly set up your smartphone to use the contactless feature (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.) to access the ATM machines. A bank representative will certainly help you with that if you ask.

  • Your new metal card should work everywhere your plastic card works. Since the only difference now is the housing for the EMV chip is no longer sitting in your plastic card but a metal one. Your card is the EMV chip and not the plastic around it.

Does the tap to pay (NFC) still work?

No, it will not. But you can always use your smartphone to enable “tap and pay” with your phone if this is something that you would like to keep.  We are still researching technology to enable the transfer of “tap and pay” functionality. At this time, we do not have one. 

The tap and pay (contactless) feature are very tricky. Some of the antennas are actually in the plastic card themselves. 

What do we do?


  • We convert your old boring plastic debit & credit cards into METAL.

  • We transfer your EMV from your plastic card onto your new metal card. We also transfer the data of your magnetic strip over to the metal card. 

  • You will have a fully functional metal credit card (Magstripe & EMV chip) that you can SWIPE and INSERT except for the tap and pay feature. If needed you can certainly use your smartphone for the tap and pay feature.

3. We recommend you "freeze" your card before shipping it to us. WE DO NOT record and personal data.
Our equipment does not store any personal data. It simply transfers from A to B.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

Can I return or exchange an item?

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@engravencard.com, If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If you change your mind and do not wish to ship your card to us and would like to cancel your order, we would hate to see you go, just a reminder all order cancellations & all refunds requested due to a customer change of mind are subject to a $10 restocking fee.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Though we have a case-by-case policy regarding refunding shipping costs, in general, shipping is not refunded on any orders. If there is a discrepancy that lies on our behalf we will consider a full refund including shipping costs.

Customers who request a refund due to a change of mind but have used shop pay or any monthly installment payment method at checkout will NOT be eligible for a refund.

Lost Shipments
Lost shipments will not be refunded. If any packages are lost on their way from you to us or from us to you, we will not be responsible. We will however do our best to work with you in finding the best possible outcome for you.
Our final advice and suggestion is to contact and consult with the shipping carrier (Ex: USPS, UPS, DHL, FEDEX e.t.c).

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on orders that have used discount codes, sale items or gift cards.

Do you ship internationally?

Hi there! Yes, we ship internationally! 

Since you are shipping internationally, the address to ship to will be provided to you after purchasing.
We can do plastic access cards, debit/credit cards, hydro flasks, swords e.t.c really anything!

If your card has a chip, it is most likely to be able to be converted!

How to ship my card to your facility?

  • Clients with their bank institution apps can track, in real-time, if any unwanted transactions occur throughout the estimated 7 day card reconstruction process.

  • Allowing them the peace of mind that their funds are protected.

  • However, for complete peace of mind, clients can submit either a frozen/locked or inactivated plastic debit/credit card for maximum security in transport!

  • We always provide tracking #’s so you will know exactly where your package is in real time from start to finish! 

How long does it take?

From your online checkout purchase to the arrival of your METAL card at your doorstep, our average estimated TOTAL delivery time is 4-6 days upon the arrival of your plastic card at our facility!

(2 for your card to come in, 1-2 for manufacturing of your custom METAL card, 2 for Delivery of your cards to you; original card and new metal).

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit https://www.engravencard.com/account and follow the instructions on-screen.

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please contact customerservice@engravencard.com just in case of a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting us in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We only take payment once your order has been shipped. We also accept payment by Apple and Google Pay. We accept PayPal or Amazon Pay aswell. If you decide to use either of these two methods, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal or Amazon Pay website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Where is my refund?

We aim to process refunds within three days of an item being returned to us. Please note, however, that your bank may take several days to process the payment back into your account. With that said, please allow up to ten working days after posting the item back to us before getting in touch about your refund. We’ll contact you by email to let you know when your refund has been processed.
