Refund policy
At Engraven, we stand behind the quality of our products. Our warranty covers the original defective card purchased for 30 days from the order date.
Examples of defects covered include:
- The magnetic strip detaching from the metal card.
- The EMV chip or magstripe becoming non-functional (please ensure the issue is consistent across multiple card readers before reaching out).
Please note that lost, damaged, or stolen cards are not covered under this warranty.
Bank Reissues Due to Possible Fraud
Your security matters to us. If your bank reissues your card within 30 days of receiving your Engraven card due to suspected fraud at compromised retailers, we’ll provide a replacement card.
A $35.00 handling fee will apply.
You can waive the $55 fee by sending the cards yourself and including a return label.
Defect Correction Period
If a defect is reported, we’ll offer immediate assistance to resolve the issue. You’ll have 30 days to return the card for correction or refund.
If the card is not sent back within this timeframe, the free replacement will be voided. After the 30-day period, replacements can only be made through our Card Care or Premier Pass program.
Should you wish to change or upgrade your card during this period, please check the "Risk-Free Period" paragraph within our Refund Policy.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.
At EngravenCard.com, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you purchase a card but do not mail in your card or use our service, you may request a refund for the unused service within 30 days of your purchase. After 30 days, all sales are considered final, and refunds will no longer be issued.
To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@engravencard.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, along with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Risk-Free Period — What It Means
- Our risk-free period allows customers to try our product with complete confidence.
- If you’re not fully satisfied with your card during this period, you can return it for a refund — shipping fees are non-refundable.
- You can also request a design change if you don’t like the appearance of your card. A shipping and handling fee will apply for the replacement.

This policy ensures you have the flexibility to make sure your card looks and feels exactly the way you want.
Disclaimer: We reserve the right to inspect returned cards for any intentional damage or removal of components. If a card is found to have been tampered with, damaged on purpose, or altered, the refund request may be denied.
Cancellations
If you change your mind and do not wish to ship your card to us and would like to cancel your order, we would hate to see you go. Just a reminder, all order cancellations and refunds requested due to a customer change of mind are subject to a $10 restocking fee.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund has been approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Shipping is not refunded on any orders. If there is a discrepancy that lies on our behalf, we will consider a full refund, including shipping costs.
This excludes overnight labels, which are not refundable in any situation.

Premier Pass is non-refundable. Customers are encouraged to monitor their subscription and cancel it before the next billing cycle if they no longer wish to continue.

Card Care is refundable within 30 days.

The shipping kit is refundable only if the refund request is made before the kit is shipped.

The designer's fee is refundable if a mockup was not provided; if one or more mockups are provided, the designer's fee won’t be refunded.
- Customers who request a refund due to a change of mind but have used Shop Pay or any monthly installment payment method at checkout will not be eligible for a refund.

If you purchased an incorrect card type (e.g., non-contactless when a contactless card was desired), we offer an upgrade option. However, if a refund is requested, a $35 fee will be retained.
Once a refund is issued, you will receive a separate confirmation email. Please allow 5–7 business days for the amount to appear in your account. If you do not receive it within that time, please contact your bank directly.
Lost Shipments
Lost shipments will not be refunded. If any packages are lost on their way from you to us or from us to you, we will not be responsible. We will, however, do our best to work with you to find the best possible outcome.
Our final advice is to contact and consult with the shipping carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.).
ATM issue
In case your card is stuck in an ATM within the first 30 days, we will offer a replacement card, providing proof from the bank that the card has been flagged and replaced. No refund can be requested.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on orders that have used discount codes, sale items, or gift cards.
Discount Codes and Promotional Offers Policy

Conditional Use: All discount codes and promotional offers are subject to specific terms and conditions (such as purchasing multiple items, bundle deals, or minimum order values).

Partial Cancellations and Returns: If you return or cancel a portion of your order, and the remaining items no longer meet the original requirements for the discount code used (e.g., returning one item from a "Buy One, Get One 50% Off" deal), the original discount will no longer be valid for the items you keep.

Refund Adjustments: If a partial return or cancellation voids your original discount, the items you keep will be recalculated at their standard retail price (or the next applicable standard discount). Your refund will be adjusted to equal the original total amount paid minus the recalculated cost of the retained items.

Misuse of Promo Codes: We reserve the right to void discounts, adjust order totals, or cancel orders entirely if a discount code is misused, applied incorrectly, or used in violation of its intended promotional terms.
Cards sent to the customer without chip transfer(as per customer request) are not eligible for return or refund.
